The Loving Me Girls Conference is the signature event of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Chapter of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College. This FREE one-day conference seeks to empower, inspire, and educate girls in grades 8-12. It features interactive workshops, team building activities and empowerment panels.
The conference is fully funded by the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Chapter of the National Alumnae Association of Spelman College with the help of generous donations from our donors and sponsors. We invite you to become a donor today!
The chapter gives out two types of scholarships:
- The Jane Hope Lyons Scholarship is awarded by the College to a DC Area resident.
- The Golden Girl Book Scholarships are given to incoming freshmen at our New Student Alumni picnic.
If you would like to join our efforts to support DC area students attending Spelman, please go to our Scholarships page to donate.
